AI skills plan

Map, prioritise, train and steer AI upskilling across the whole organisation.

Whatever your organisation, our entry point is the same: map your professions and functions, measure your teams' AI maturity, identify the skills to develop, then build a prioritised, budgeted and steered AI skills plan.

AI skills development plan, AI training plan, AI skills mapping: we build with you a concrete, fundable and measurable programme, in Paris, France, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and across Africa.

Why now

AI skills
are planned, not improvised.

01
An obligation already in force

In some countries and regions, such as the European Union, texts already provide that teams using AI must be trained in it. Across Europe, the EMEA region, Africa and the world, frameworks are changing fast: we check with you the requirements that apply where you operate.

02
Uses already in place

Your employees use AI, often without a framework or training. Without a plan, upskilling remains uneven and risks increase.

03
Widening gaps

Organisations that plan their AI skills today gain a lasting lead in productivity and attractiveness.

The method

Eight steps,
from diagnosis to steering.

  1. DiagnosisAI maturity, real uses and risks.
  2. MappingProfessions, functions and populations concerned.
  3. Target skillsAI literacy, augmented skills, expertise.
  4. GapsCurrent level against expected level.
  5. PathwaysTraining adapted to each profile.
  6. Budget and fundingCosts, priorities and available funding.
  7. IndicatorsAdoption, skills acquired, impact.
  8. SteeringReviews, adjustments and roadmap.

The role of HR

Human resources
at the heart of the approach.

Too often, AI transformation starts with an isolated request: an employee who wants training, a leader who wants a tool, without the HR department having been consulted. The result is familiar: scattered initiatives, uneven skills and no steering.

Lasting AI transformation must first result from a genuine, in-depth analysis of professions, skills and the organisation. That is precisely the role of the HR director, or the HR manager in smaller organisations: to lead the AI transformation, because it goes to the heart of their mission, skills, work organisation and support for people.

Many HR departments do not yet know that this role is theirs. We help them take it on fully, with method, bringing executive leadership, business units, IT, legal and compliance around the table.

The HR department leads the AI skills plan, together with executive leadership, business units, IT, legal and compliance. We support it at every step: scoping, trade-offs, communication to teams and follow-up.

Managers and teams are involved from the start, so that the plan matches real professional tasks and is adopted on the ground.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions
about the AI skills plan.

What is an AI skills plan?

It is the roadmap that organises your teams' AI upskilling: professions concerned, target skills, gaps, learning pathways, budget and indicators.

How is it different from an AI training plan?

An AI training plan lists training actions. An AI skills plan starts from professions and skills to develop, then derives the training, budget and steering.

Can an AI skills development plan be funded?

In France, the resulting training can be funded by your OPCO under the skills development plan, depending on your situation. In Africa, funding depends on the country.

How long does it take to build an AI skills plan?

The framework can be set out in one to two days of workshop. A full engagement, with diagnosis and mapping, generally takes a few weeks depending on the size of the organisation.

Who leads the AI skills plan?

The HR department, together with executive leadership, business units, IT, legal and compliance.

Do you offer an AI skills plan in Abidjan and Côte d'Ivoire?

Yes, with LL REMAKE AFRICA, an Ivorian company based in Abidjan, on site or remotely.
