Remake, not replace: our approach to applied AI
The most common promise around AI is replacement. Ours is different. We believe AI serves to remake professions, not erase them. Here is why, and what it changes in practice.
AI does not replace the profession, it extends it
A notary remains a notary. A finance department keeps its closing obligations. A lawyer keeps professional secrecy and responsibility. AI does not make these realities disappear; it inserts itself into them. The useful question is never whether AI can replace a professional, but where it can relieve them of what burdens them, without ever touching what belongs to their judgment.
A distinction that is operational, not just principled
This distinction determines what we automate and what we protect, from the very design of a solution. Starting from the real work, the actual tasks, documents and constraints, is what makes AI useful and safe, rather than spectacular and risky.
What it changes concretely
We build systems that lighten, clarify and give back time, while keeping the human in control of every binding decision. That is applied AI as we practise it: remake, not replace.
